The Role: DevOps Engineer
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex Linux/Unix environments, enjoys getting to the root cause of infrastructure or application issues, and is passionate about building and maintaining production-ready systems. You'll work across cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure

• Provision and manage cloud resources, configure networks, ensure security and cost optimisation

• Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins

• Use configuration management tools like Ansible

• Maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably with Helm Charts)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Terragrunt

• Monitor production environments using Grafana, Kibana, DataDog or CloudWatch

• Develop and manage CDN solutions using CloudFront and/or Akamai

• Work with distributed tracing, logs, and observability metrics

• Automate tasks with scripting languages like Bash, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript

About You

• 3+ years in DevOps or similar infrastructure roles

• Strong background in AWS infrastructure and networking

• Experienced in CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code

• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm

• Deep understanding of web architecture and networking protocols

• Familiar with CDN creation and optimisation

• Proficient in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, JS/TS)

• Excellent communicator, fluent in English

• Self-driven, collaborative, and humble with a passion for learning and mentoring
