  • Implement OpenEdge database features such as OE Replication, TDE, and Auditing
  • Handle platform migrations, upgrades, and perform backend project work

Job description

Were currently hiring for a Senior Database Administrator role at, a leading company known for its innovative solutions and forward-thinking approach. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Managed DBA Service team, where youll be supporting our customers OpenEdge database environments, ensuring their business continuity and high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Primary Database Administrator for multiple customer deployments.
  • Troubleshoot technical OpenEdge database issues and perform Database Health Checks.
  • Implement OpenEdge database features such as OE Replication, TDE, and Auditing.
  • Handle platform migrations, upgrades, and perform backend project work.
  • Provide monthly reports for clients and support a 7x12 on-call duty.

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years experience with OpenEdge databases.
  • 2+ years experience with Pro2* Replication in both LAN and WAN environments.
  • Expertise with UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms, shell scripting, and Windows Batch scripting.

Optional Experience:

  • 5+ years as a remote OpenEdge DBA or consultant.
  • Experience with Progress SQL92, JDK/JRE frameworks, and middleware solutions.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server and Oracle DB.
