The Role: Consultant
As a Consultant, you'll apply your accounting and analytical background to design and implement business systems that help clients operate more efficiently. You'll work with global clients to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, streamline processes, and drive decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial foundation who wants to evolve into a transformative business and technology consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of end-to-end business processes (Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Campaign-to-Cash)

• Configure and implement business systems such as ERP, EPM, or FP&A tools based on business requirements

• Design and produce management reporting packs including actuals, budgets, forecasts, and commentary

• Use and enhance analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to deliver business insights

• Apply accounting principles to system design, including areas like revenue recognition, FX, inventory, and lease accounting

• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and adoption

• Continuously develop technical and consulting skills in SQL, data modelling, and system architecture

About You

• CA(SA) or part-qualified with a B.Com or B.Com (Hons)/CTA

• Completed or near-completed articles

• Minimum of 2 years experience in management accounting or FP&A

• Strong experience preparing management reports and financial models

• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, automation)

• Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools

• Foundational understanding of ERP systems and accounting data flows

• Analytical thinker with curiosity for business systems and data

• Excellent written and spoken English and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders

• Desire to work with global clients and build a long-term consulting career
