We are seeking a skilled Middleware Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support middleware solutions that enable seamless integration between enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of middleware environments while supporting business-critical integrations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain middleware platforms (on-premise and cloud).

  • Support integration between applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot middleware-related issues.

  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of integration environments.

  • Implement security best practices and access controls.

  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

  • Perform upgrades, patches, and system maintenance activities.

  • Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

  • Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in middleware engineering or application integration.

  • Experience with middleware platforms such as:

    • WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat

    • MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or similar

  • Strong knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging systems (JMS, Kafka), and integration patterns.

  • Experience with Linux/Windows server environments.

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP, SSL, DNS, Load Balancing).

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • CI/CD pipeline exposure (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

  • Experience in enterprise ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

  • ITIL knowledge or certification is a plus.
