General Scope & Goals

The Electrical VDC Coordinator leads the end-to-end electrical coordination process—managing workflows, aligning schedules, and ensuring high-quality model deliverables (LOD 400/500) that meet client and construction standards.

  • Project Execution: Guarantee model accuracy, constructability, and timely delivery.
  • Technical Support: Mentor team members and provide guidance on standards and best practices.
  • QA/QC: Review electrical models and drawings for compliance with project and quality standards before submission.
  • Leadership: Represent ENG’s BIM expertise in coordination meetings, promoting proactive problem-solving and clear communication.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Training in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for Electrical coordination.
  • Proven experience leading BIM teams and technical coordination for large projects.
  • Strong client-facing communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with U.S. projects, codes, and construction standards.
  • Proficiency in LOD 400/500 deliverables, prefabrication, kitting, and spooling workflows.
  • Must be based in the United States and able to work on-site in San Jose, CA for approximately 2 years.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare projects and large-scale commercial construction.
  • Previous exposure to remote-team coordination from the jobsite.
  • Familiarity with prefabrication and field installation workflows.
