Job Purpose: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. You will play a key role in uncovering insights that drive strategic decisions and support the development of an advanced analytics environment, including the use of AI technologies. The Business Analyst works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations and data is required, demonstrating exceptional project management skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Advanced Analysis and Reporting 
  • Conduct advanced data analysis using SQL and other tools to identify trends and inform decisions 
  • Design and manage complex dashboards, reports, and forecasting models 
  • Execute detailed variance analysis with actionable recommendations for improvement 
  • Present insights and recommendations in a clear, actionable format 
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting 
  • Prepare monthly strategic reporting 
  • Assist in identifying key product and destination trends for all markets 
• Data Management and Strategic Optimization 
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and governance 
  • Operate in a cloud-based data environment 
  • Lead collaboration with IT/Systems team on database architecture and advanced reporting solutions 
  • Develop and implement robust data validation methodologies to ensure reporting accuracy 
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to transform data processes 
  • Support forward-thinking analytics projects leveraging AI and automation 
• Performance Analysis and Business Intelligence 
  • Partner with business units to define KPIs and align reporting with business goals 
  • Utilize Power BI to display key insights and reporting 
  • Develop and monitor comprehensive financial KPIs that align with strategic business objectives 
  • Partner with department heads to design productivity measurement frameworks 
  • Identify correlations between performance metrics and business outcomes 
  • Create predictive models to forecast business performance trends 
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable business recommendations 
• Cross-functional Leadership and Collaboration 
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships across all functional areas 
  • Serve as a key liaison between business units to facilitate data-driven decision making 
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal supervision from senior leadership 
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts on cross-functional collaboration techniques 
  • Model the RBG Values and Ways of Working, setting an example for junior team members 
• Project Management and Strategic Reporting 
  • Lead complex analytical projects and statistical studies from conception to implementation 
  • Develop sophisticated reporting methodologies using advanced Excel, Access, and BI tools 
  • Present comprehensive findings and recommendations to senior and departmental management 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines 
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices in project management 
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains 
  • Actively seek feedback and conduct retrospectives to diagnose and recommend improvements 
  • Provide thought leadership in analytical approaches and business intelligence
