  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts and tools (LeanIX preferred) and understanding of business capability modeling, application portfolios, and technology mapping.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • LeanIX Administration – Maintain and update LeanIX data models (applications, business capabilities, processes, and interfaces), ensure data integrity, manage user access and permissions, and collaborate with architects and system owners.
  • Repository Support and Reporting – Generate architecture reports, dashboards, and visualizations; support integration of LeanIX with other systems (e.g., ServiceNow, CMDB); conduct periodic data audits with stakeholders.
  • Process and Governance Support – Assist architectural governance activities (architecture reviews, working group sessions); document and maintain reference architectures, patterns, and standards; coordinate updates to artifacts per EA methodologies (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Communication and Collaboration – Work with enterprise and solution architects and IT teams to reflect changes in LeanIX; participate in planning meetings; provide LeanIX user training and support.

Associate Enterprise Architect – LeanIX Administrator
Location: Remote (Travel once or twice to meetings a year)
Duration: 2 + years


Position Summary
The Associate Enterprise Architect will support the enterprise architecture function by maintaining and enhancing the LeanIX repository and associated tools. This entry-level role is ideal for a technically inclined candidate interested in enterprise architecture, systems documentation, and IT governance. The role will assist in capturing and visualizing enterprise systems, applications, capabilities, and interdependencies to enable transparency, planning, and decision-making across IT and business units.

Key Responsibilities

LeanIX Administration & Maintenance
•Maintain and update LeanIX data models, including applications, business capabilities, processes, and interfaces.
•Ensure data integrity and consistency across LeanIX workspaces.
•Collaborate with architects and system owners to gather accurate and complete architecture data.
•Manage user access, roles, and permissions in LeanIX.

Repository Support & Reporting
•Generate architecture reports, dashboards, and visualizations for use in planning and governance.
•Support integration of LeanIX with other systems (e.g., ServiceNow, CMDB).
•Conduct periodic data audits and coordinate cleanup efforts with stakeholders.

Process & Governance Support
•Support architectural governance activities, including architecture reviews and working group sessions.
•Assist in documentation and maintenance of reference architectures, patterns, and standards.
•Coordinate updates to architecture artifacts in alignment with EA methodologies (e.g., TOGAF).

Communication & Collaboration
•Work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, and IT teams to reflect architectural changes in LeanIX.
•Participate in project and planning meetings to stay informed of changes to the IT landscape.
•Provide user support and training for LeanIX users across the organization.

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
•0–3 years of experience in IT, business analysis, or enterprise architecture support.
•Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts and tools (LeanIX preferred).
•Basic understanding of business capability modeling, application portfolios, and technology mapping.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

Preferred Qualifications
•Internship or academic experience in enterprise architecture, systems analysis, or IT operations.
•Exposure to EA frameworks such as TOGAF or BIZBOK.
•Interest in utilities, energy, or regulated industries.
