Job Title: EDI Developer (IBM Sterling Integrator)
Location: Remote, United States

We are looking for an experienced EDI Developer with strong expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building, supporting, and optimizing EDI/B2B integration solutions, while collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (v5.2.6 or above).

  • Build, configure, and maintain business processes (BPML) and adapters within Sterling Integrator.

  • Create and support EDI maps for ANSI X12, XML, EDIFACT, CSV, Flat files, JSON.

  • Manage communication protocols like FTP, SFTP, AS2, VAN for secure transactions.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance EDI transactions and overall system performance.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

  • Support Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (5.2.6 or above).

  • Strong knowledge of Sterling Commerce modules, pipelines, and monitoring.

  • Proficiency in DB2, SQL, XML, XSLT, APIs, Web Services.

  • Familiarity with supply chain processes is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
