Roles & Responsibilities

8+ years of mainframe development experience (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS)
5+ years of hands-on Hogan IDS (Integrated Deposits System) module experience
Strong understanding of Hogan architecture, subsystems, control files; experience with Hogan tools (Hogan Toolkit, CP, TM, PGT, RMDS)
Banking/financial services domain experience preferred; strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Requirements:

Develop, maintain, and enhance Hogan IDS modules on mainframe platforms using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS
Apply Hogan tools (Toolkit, CP, TM, PGT, RMDS) for development, testing, and deployment; work with Hogan architecture, subsystems, and control files
Perform batch scheduling, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliable, efficient processing
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Hogan CAMS/CIS subsystems; collaborate with banking/financial services teams and communicate findings effectively

Job description

Job Title: Sr. Hogan IDS Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: contract

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of experience in mainframe development (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS).
5+ years of hands-on experience with Hogan IDS (Integrated Deposits System) modules.
Strong understanding of Hogan architecture, subsystems, and control files.
Experience with Hogan tools such as Hogan Toolkit, CP, TM, PGT, and RMDS.
Expertise in batch scheduling, debugging, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of Hogan CAMS, CIS, or other Hogan subsystems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Banking or financial services domain experience is highly preferred.
