We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join our consulting team and lead architecture strategy and solution design for the Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement domain.
As a member of our team, you will bring deep domain expertise, technical leadership, and a strategic mindset to help shape and deliver enterprise-grade solutions across global supply chain and retail operations, with a strong focus on supplier engagement, sourcing, and procurement transformation. Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Strategy:
Define and evolve target and transition architectures for sourcing, procurement, and supplier engagement systems aligned with enterprise goals.
Solution Design Leadership:
Lead the design of end-to-end architecture across multiple supply chain organizations (SCOs), ensuring seamless integration and data flow across supplier management, sourcing, and procurement platforms.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with procurement leaders, category managers, product owners, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable solutions.
Governance & Standards:
Establish and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and best practices across sourcing and procurement initiatives.
Technology Evaluation:
Assess and recommend platforms, tools, and vendors that align with sourcing, procurement, and supplier collaboration objectives.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure all solutions meet global security, privacy, and regulatory standards, including supplier risk and compliance requirements.
Expertise & Domain Focus As a Lead Architect, you will:
Provide deep expertise in supply chain sourcing and procurement domains, including supplier onboarding, qualification, sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and payables.
Demonstrate technical leadership across multiple vendor solutions and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Lead the enablement of supplier/partner/vendor interaction portals and integration with core applications.
Bring experience with supplier portal technologies such as HICX, APEX Analytics, and others.
Understand systems interactions and dependencies, what business functions they enable, and how to manage interdependencies.
Deliver high-impact architecture artifacts and guide clients through complex transformation journeys.
Desired Deliverables:
High-level conceptual, logical, and process flow designs.
Architecture roadmaps and transition plans aligned with a North Star vision.
Solution options with clear recommendations and rationale.

Qualifications and Skills Experience:
10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.

Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of supplier engagement models, sourcing strategies, and procurement operations.
Expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, including sourcing events, contract lifecycle management, purchasing, invoicing, and supplier collaboration.
Familiarity with supplier risk and compliance frameworks, ESG tracking, and third-party risk management.
Technology & Tools:
Strong experience with supplier management platforms such as Ariba, Aravo, Coupa, Ivalua, HICX, and APEX Analytics.
Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems including Oracle Procurement Cloud, and SAP Ariba.
Experience designing and integrating supplier portals and partner collaboration platforms.
Solid background in cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API-based integrations for supplier data exchange.
Architecture & Leadership:
Ability to define and drive target architectures for sourcing and procurement ecosystems.
Skilled in creating architecture artifacts such as data flow diagrams, integration blueprints, and supplier interaction models.
Experience leading vendor evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, and technology assessments for procurement solutions.
Strong collaboration skills to work with procurement leaders, category managers, and supplier relationship teams.
Preferred but Not Required: Experience with Active Directory user management. Basic knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshservice, Spiceworks). CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
