Job Description
Serves as technical and analytical resource for utilization of technologies to create and maintain custom applications for business processes in accordance with programming standards, procedures and best practices. Acting as a liaison between IT staff and internal or external clients, to coordinate strategies for application development by documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HealthCare industry. Formal Education Required: a) Associate Degree or may substitute with 2 years of like experience. Experience & Training Required: a) 2 -5 years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant project management, healthcare options, business analysis, and working knowledge of Health Insurance Payment systems and processes, such as AMISYS Advance. b) Experience with all or most of the following: Applications: Health Insurance Payment systems interfaced applications, Visual Studio, Team Foundation System, IIS, SharePoint Programming Languages: SQL, Visual Basic.NET, C#.NET, XML, ASP, HTML, JavaScript, Perl Databases: Relational Database knowledge/experience with SQL Server, including Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services. Knowledge of Oracle DBMS and Application Suite Other Software: Visio, Microsoft Office, MS Access, Microsoft Project.
