Job Description:

• Participates in period planning and creating iteration plans as well as objectives.

• Develops and commits to team period objectives and goals.

• Conducts research, design, prototyping, and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase.

• Collaborates with the Kroger Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Participates in design. Reviews design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead.

• Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases.

• Works with the Kroger Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code.

• Adheres to Kroger standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services.

• Participates in code reviews.

• Follows defined branching strategies. Checks new code into the shared source code repository meeting branching guideline requirements.

• Collaborates with Consultants' Quality Assurance on test case creation.

• Performs continuous improvement of the team's process and themselves embracing coaching and mentoring from their Consultant Technical Lead
