Indirect Spend Contracting- purchased services, food, linen, laundry, instrument repair, office supplies, office furniture, patient and employee survey services, etc.
Complex contracting category expertise – need to be comfortable understanding end user needs, collaborating with various teams to collect key needs by category, running RFPs – collaborating with vendors, end user departments, scoring bids, making bid award recommendations etc.
Comfortable completing analysis of bids, opportunities to maximize contracted categories, healthcare or hospital contracting experience extremely helpful 5-7 years of complex contracting experience required to be successful
Ability to present analysis in a storytelling format, complete PowerPoint presentations, comfortable interacting with client resources, vendor resources, and executive staff at the hospital
