Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator with a strong background in NSX-V to NSX-T migrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NSX-V, NSX-T, BGP, Geneve, VRF and the VMWare product suite. This role is critical to ensuring seamless migration and optimization of our clients network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and execute NSX-V to NSX-T migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless integration.

· Configure and manage remote networks. NSX-T, BGP, Geneve, and VRF.

· Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient network architectures.

· Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide advanced support.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business goals.

· Develop and maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures.

· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network administrators.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on VMware NSX technologies.

· Proven experience in NSX-V to NSX-T migrations.

· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware products/services.

· Experience with VMWare Cloud Director (VCD) and multiple tenants.

· Proficient in network security principles and practices.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Industry related certifications are a plus VMWare VCP, VCP-NV, N+, CCNA

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with other networking technologies and protocols.

· Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments.

· Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
