Roles & Responsibilities

Expertise in Meraki, Viptela, and FortiGate firewall technologies and designs
Strong technical discovery, solution design, and documentation skills
Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and SD-WAN, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, and SDN
Fortinet, Cisco and/or Aruba certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, SD-WAN, 300-415 ENSDWI, NSE) with hands-on FortiGate experience

Requirements:

Design, implement, and optimize networks using Meraki, Viptela, and FortiGate; manage Meraki MX/MX/MR networks via Meraki Dashboard
Lead technical discovery, solution design, and documentation for network projects
Configure and maintain routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), SD-WAN, VPNs, firewall policies, and security controls (IDS/IPS, encryption) to meet security and compliance requirements
Monitor and troubleshoot networks using tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds; analyze performance and provide proactive improvements

Job Description:

Network Engineer with expertise in Meraki, Viptela and FortiGate firewall
Strong technical discovery, solution design, and documentation skills.
Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, SDN and SD_WAN.
Strong understanding of network security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements including Firewall, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
Strong understanding on Meraki network design, template & configuration binding.
Manage and optimize Meraki MX, MS, and MR networks using Meraki Dashboard.
Fortinet, Cisco and/or Aruba certifications ( CCNA, CCNP,CCIE, SDWAN, ACSDP, 300-415 ENSDWI,NSE)
Cisco Networking Hardware: Routers, Swicthes, Firewalls, (Catalyst, 6509-E, Nexus, etc.)
Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls including policy-based routing, static and dynamic routing and redistribution.
Experience with network analysis and operational monitoring\alerting tools (wireshark, Solarwinds, etc.)
Ability to productively work under minimal supervision
