Roles & Responsibilities

  • Meraki, Viptela, and FortiGate firewall expertise
  • Strong discovery, solution design, and documentation skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, SDN, and SD-WAN
  • Fortinet, Cisco and/or Aruba certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, SD-WAN, NSE) and familiarity with Cisco hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)

Requirements:

  • Design, implement, and manage Meraki networks (MX, MS, MR) via Meraki Dashboard and template binding
  • Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls with policy-based routing and routing redistribution
  • Plan and optimize network infrastructure including SD-WAN/SDN, BGP/OSPF, QoS, and security controls
  • Monitor and analyze network performance using tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds) and prepare technical documentation

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Network Engineer with expertise in Meraki, Viptela and FortiGate firewall

• Strong technical discovery, solution design, and documentation skills.

• Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, SDN and SD_WAN.

• Strong understanding of network security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements including Firewall, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.

• Strong understanding on Meraki network design, template & configuration binding.

• Manage and optimize Meraki MX, MS, and MR networks using Meraki Dashboard.

• Fortinet, Cisco and/or Aruba certifications ( CCNA, CCNP,CCIE, SDWAN, ACSDP, 300-415 ENSDWI,NSE)

• Cisco Networking Hardware: Routers, Swicthes, Firewalls, (Catalyst, 6509-E, Nexus, etc.)

• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls including policy-based routing, static and dynamic routing and redistribution.

• Experience with network analysis and operational monitoring\alerting tools (wireshark, Solarwinds, etc.)

• Ability to productively work under minimal supervision
