Requirements:

  • Defining and implementing the role of testing within the program and the scope of testing for each project, release, or delivery.
  • Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort, resources, tools, and processes to meet the testing mandate.
  • Developing test management plans, test scenarios, and test cases; mapping test cases to requirements traceability and validating that business requirements are met.
  • Managing stakeholders, coordinating across multiple test stakeholders, and ensuring testing conclusions are supported by results and communicated to project managers with adherence to the Enterprise Life Cycle and project standards.

Description of Project and Tasks:

Principle duties and essential functions:
  • Defining and implementing the role that testing plays within the program.
  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each project / release / delivery.
  • Deploying and managing the appropriate testing processes and framework to meet the testing mandate.
  • Implementing and supporting appropriate measurements and metrics.
  • Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given project / release / delivery.
  • Managing and growing testing assets required for meeting the testing mandate:
  • Team members
  • Testing tools
  • Testing processes
  • Develop Test Management plans, schedules and resource needs
  • May participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development; Support the development of Quality Assurance Plans
  • Develop and manage the development of test scenarios and test cases; Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standard timelines and budgets
  • Manage stakeholders and resource needs
  • Manage testing to ensure all business requirements are being met; map test cases to Requirements Traceability matrix and ensure test case validation points confirm the business requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements
  • Execute testing as needed
  • Manages the adherence to Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and project management standards
  • Coordinates multiple test stakeholders across the organization including business and other integrated offices
  • Develop documentation in support of ELC requirements and project needs
  • Manage resources including managing resource assignments, deliverable assignment and review, review time and expense charges, etc.
  • Management and executive reporting
Skills required
  • Experience with SAP ERP / S/4HANA solutions
  • 5 or more years of test leadership experience of IT projects of mid to large size complexity (i.e. $5 - $50M). PMP Certification is a plus.
  • 5 or more years implementing and/or testing functional technology solutions (i.e. hands-on experience)
  • Deep understanding of integration points encountered by project testing
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
Secondary skills (nice to have)
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to effectively analyze & resolve issues
Required certifications
  • Bachelor's degree
