Summary: The main responsibility of this role is to build/maintain as well as improve the CI/CD pipelines, supporting the cloud infrastructure and building automation around it. This role is also responsible for building reliability, scalability as well as observability around the deployed software applications This role is expected to improve operational efficiencies as well as implementation of security controls.
Job Responsibilities:
• Architect, build and provision cloud infrastructure
• Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software applications
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and introduce orchestration (eg Kubernetes) as scale requires
• Implement security into deployments by design including IAM, encryption, and network segmentation
• Implement monitoring and observability to track system health, performance, and reliability
• Support database operations including scaling, backups and recovery
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 3+ years of strong hands-on Cloud experience preferably AWS in production environments
• In-depth understanding of docker and containerization workflows (Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Argo CD, Jenkins, Gitlab runner
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
• Experience supporting MS-SQL or similar databases
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals and access management
