Roles & Responsibilities

Senior Python development experience with a focus on IoT or data engineering
Experience designing and deploying edge-to-cloud data pipelines
Experience integrating platforms such as AWS, GE Proficy, Databricks, and ServiceNow
Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills with ability to migrate from legacy CEWIS to off-the-shelf solutions

Requirements:

Develop and maintain Python-based services for IoT data ingestion, processing, and analytics across edge and cloud environments
Lead the integration of off-the-shelf platforms (AWS, GE Proficy, Databricks, ServiceNow) to modernize the IoT infrastructure
Design scalable data architectures and pipelines to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to replace CEWIS and enable faster, data-driven decision making

A NextEra Energy está iniciando uma iniciativa transformadora para modernizar nossa infraestrutura de IoT, que suporta nosso portfólio diversificado de ativos de geração de energia — incluindo sistemas solares, eólicos e de armazenamento por baterias.

Este projeto substituirá nosso sistema atual, CEWIS (customizado internamente), por soluções prontas de mercado (off-the-shelf), integrando plataformas avançadas como AWS, GE Proficy, Databricks e ServiceNow.

O objetivo é criar um ecossistema coeso e escalável que aumente a eficiência operacional e a integridade dos dados.

Ao adotar essas novas tecnologias, buscamos ganhar escala mais rapidamente e obter suporte mais robusto, possibilitando decisões mais rápidas e orientadas por dados.
