Kyivstar.Tech is looking for a Product Designer (Web) to evolve a high-traffic website and ship responsive experiences for both desktop and mobile. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product team and influence the product’s trajectory through evidence-based design.

What you will do:Discover user needs through research and analytics, and translate insights into clear design directionsFrame problems with Product Management: hypotheses, scope, and success metricsApply Service Design thinking to keep the web experience cohesive within the end-to-end service and key handoffs (including assisted/offline touchpoints), without owning those channelsAlign with adjacent teams (e.g., retail, contact center, operations) on handoffs and constraints so website journeys connect smoothly with assisted/offline stepsCollaborate daily with engineers and Product Management within the cross-functional product team to explore, evaluate, and refine solutionsDesign responsive web experiences across desktop and mobile breakpoints (and tablet where applicable): layout, content hierarchy, and interaction behaviorShape and evolve the website information architecture (navigation, sitemap, taxonomy)Create core UX artifacts (user flows, wireframes, site maps) and prototypes to communicate structure and behaviorPlan and run usability tests, synthesize findings, and iterate designs based on evidenceUse and contribute to the design system (components/variants/tokens), and document key decisions and reusable patternsCollaborate with content design / UX writing to improve page structure, messaging, and microcopyApply accessibility fundamentals (WCAG basics) and web implementation constraints (HTML/CSS feasibility)Support implementation through release with engineers, review outcomes post-launch, and iterate based on feedback and metricsQualifications and experience needed:A minimum of 3 years in a UX/UI design role or related capacityStrong experience designing responsive web interfaces for desktop and mobile; portfolio cases should demonstrate breakpoint thinking and information hierarchyHands-on experience using and contributing to design systems (components, variants, tokens, and guidelines)Practical understanding of product design processes (Discovery/Delivery): problem framing, hypotheses, success metrics, and working within a cross-functional product team with PO/BA/engineers on requirements and acceptance criteriaStrong Service Design mindset and practical use of tools (journey maps, service blueprints) to design web experiences as part of a cohesive end-to-end serviceProficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, components, variants, and libraries)Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Framer)Basic understanding of web accessibility (WCAG fundamentals) and web implementation constraints (HTML/CSS)Experience working within an Agile or Scrum development frameworkEnglish proficiency at an Intermediate level or aboveFluent written and spoken UkrainianA foundational understanding of Customer Development is considered a significant advantageWhat we offer:Office or remote — it’s up to you.
