Lead Developer – Amazon Connect

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Developer (Amazon Connect) to design and deliver cloud-based contact center applications leveraging AWS and Amazon Connect. The role is fully remote and ideal for a senior engineer with strong technical depth in AWS cloud telephony and customer engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement Amazon Connect solutions for call center operations.
  • Develop IVR workflows, custom integrations, and serverless backends using AWS Lambda.
  • Collaborate with global teams to build, test, and deploy production-ready contact center applications.
  • Leverage AWS native services for scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  • Lead technical discussions, provide code reviews, and ensure best practices across development cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of total IT experience with a strong development background.
  • 3+ years of experience working on Amazon Connect implementations.
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud ecosystem (Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway).
  • Strong understanding of telephony concepts, call routing, and SIP protocols.
  • Experience integrating contact center systems with CRM or ERP solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Developer / Architect certification.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration, chatbots, or voice bots using Amazon Lex.
  • Hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, and analytics tools for contact centers.
