Job description

Massive Bio, a rapidly growing health-tech startup founded in 2015 and  is dedicated to providing every cancer patient with access to clinical trials, regardless of their location or financial status. Our proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials addresses every point of friction in traditional enrollment processes. 
As a Physician Relations Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our US provider engagement operations, focusing on California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Virginia. As a key member of our Provider Engagement Team, you will help build relationships with oncologists and healthcare providers in the community through outreach, education, and engagement efforts. Acting as a liaison between physicians in your territory and various internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure providers understand the benefits of partnering with Massive Bio to pre-screen and match patients with clinical trials. Serving as a local contact point for oncology providers, your mission will be to expand Massive Bio's network, increase referrals, and strengthen provider engagement efforts. Reporting to the Senior Manager of US Provider Engagement, you will: 
  • Support outreach efforts to oncologists and healthcare providers to introduce them to Massive Bio’s platform.
  • Assist in scheduling and conducting virtual and in-person meetings with physicians and medical teams in your territory.
  • Educate healthcare providers about the features and advantages of the Massive Bio clinical platform & how clinical trial enrollment can benefit their patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of provider interactions in the company’s CRM system.
  • Track and report engagement activities to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Provider Engagement Team to develop outreach strategies and engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the Provider Engagement Team’s strategic mapping efforts, identifying targeted physicians relevant to Massive Bio’s contracted Clinical Trials based on therapeutic area and location. 
  • Follow up with healthcare providers to track the outcomes and results of their engagement with our platform. 
 
Candidate Profile 
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a background in the medical field is preferred.  
  • Experience in Clinical Research, Pharma/Biotech, or NGS with a clinical network of oncologists is preferred.  
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new information and technologies.  
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with strong conversational and sales skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with excellent personal and communication skills.  
  • Regular weekly local travel is required for field-based engagement, some out-of-state travel will be required as needed.
  • Prior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payers, value-based care models, and/or integrated healthcare models.  
  • Must be a resident or citizen of the USA and located in California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Virginia.
