SAP ABAP Developer

The SAP ABAP Developer will provide expertise and knowledge in the areas of ABAP development. Working as part of a larger team, executes systems scope and objectives. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs. Works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. 

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Expertise of SAP ABAP and coding in ABAP in the BRIM ecosystem
• Expertise in maintaining and building pages using BSP
• Expertise in Adobe Forms 
• Experience in extracting data from HANA DB using CDS views
• Experience in programming using ABAP
• Expertise  in building integrations using OData services, CDS Views, Inbound RFCs,  APIs
• Expertise in creating enhancements using BADIs and user exits
• Experience in building print forms using adobe live cycle designer and oData /ABAP interfaces
• Experience in building custom workflows using workflow builder, classes and BOR objects
• Create and maintain high level implementation plans, design documentation, and data and process models
• Work with the users, technical and solution architects to define the data requirements and structure for the application
• Review the application deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and traceability to requirements and adherence to all quality management plans and standards
• Understand business requirements behind assigned tasks
• Prepare data for testing, execute and verify test cycles
• Exposure to SAP ABAP CDS views, oData services
• Exposure to SAP workflow framework
• SAP ABAP design, development, testing and deployment experience

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of ABAP design, development, testing and deployment experience in S4/HANA BRIM
• 3+ years of BSP experience 
• 2+ Years of SAPUI5, Fiori UI elements design, development, testing and deployment experience.
• 2+ Years of CDS, oData design, Inbound RFC,  APIs, development, testing and deployment experience.
• Experience with integrations to AWS
• Exposure to SAP BADIs and user exits
• Experience in extracting data from HANA DB using CDS views
• Experience in programming using ABAP , SAPUI5 and Fiori UI elements
• Involved in building integrations using OData services, CDS Views
• Expertise in creating enhancements using BADIs and user exits
• Create and maintain high level implementation plans, design documentation, and data and process models
• Work with the users, technical and solution architects to define the data requirements and structure for the application
• Review the application Deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and traceability to requirements and adherence to all quality management plans and standards
• Understand business requirements behind assigned tasks
• Prepare data for testing, execute and verify test cycles
