Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, from proposal through award, execution, modifications, and closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company policies across all contract actions.
  • Review, interpret, and administer contract terms, conditions, clauses, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate contract files and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Lead contract and subcontract negotiations, including pricing, terms, conditions, and flow‑downs.
  • Support subcontract drafting, review, amendment, and compliance monitoring.
  • Track contract performance milestones, deliverables, funding, and obligations.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual, financial, or compliance risks; escalate issues as needed.
  • Support financial and program reporting, including DCMA/DCAA coordination where required.
  • Partner with program management, finance, business development, legal, and supply chain teams to support contract strategy and execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and government representatives.
  • Support proposal development including reviewing solicitations, preparing contractual volumes, and identifying risk areas.
  • Participate in pricing discussions, cost/price analysis, and negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in government contract administration, subcontract administration, or procurement.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including practical application in federal contracting environments.
  • Experience negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing with customers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to review and interpret contract terms, Statements of Work (SOW), and regulatory guidance.
  • Experience managing contract actions across the entire lifecycle—from proposal through closeout.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and government/customer representatives.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) and TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act).
  • Experience supporting DCMA or DCAA audits and government oversight requirements.
  • Experience supporting proposal teams, including review of RFPs and capture-phase planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Finance, or a related field.

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
