Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium, Java, BDD, and Katalon to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software testing processes. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Katalon Studio.
• Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) using tools like Cucumber 
• Design and execute automated test scripts to validate web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with the development team for resolution.
• Optimize test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and guide them in test automation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG/JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Experience with Katalon Studio for test automation.
• Good understanding of REST API testing and integration with automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, or similar).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
