Roles & Responsibilities

Master's degree (minimum) and at least 15 years of relevant experience in NEPA/document preparation.
Direct substantive experience with preparation of NEPA documents for nuclear facilities or sites, with citations of NEPA documents prepared or managed.
Nuclear background with demonstrated experience in siting, construction, decommissioning, and/or waste management.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance; experience working on NRC and DOE NEPA documents.

Requirements:

Lead and provide senior-level leadership in the preparation of multidisciplinary NEPA documents, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Oversee project teams, coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulators, and manage scope, schedule, and budgets while ensuring compliance with NRC/DOE requirements.
Ensure NEPA documentation includes proper citations and adheres to federal NEPA requirements; contribute to business development and client satisfaction.
Provide subject-matter expertise on siting, construction, decommissioning, and waste management within NEPA processes.

Job description

SC&A is seeking a senior NEPA manager and specialist with demonstrated leadership experience in the preparation of multidisciplinary NEPA documents. To be considered, candidates must have previous substantive, documented experience with direct preparation of NEPA documents for nuclear facilities or sites.

The candidate should, at a minimum, have a master's degree and at least 15 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will have a nuclear background with demonstrated experience in nuclear facilities siting, construction, decommissioning, and/or waste management.
Citations of NEPA documents prepared or managed must be provided.
Experience working on U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Department of Energy documents is essential.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
While the preferred location for the candidate is the Washington, D.C. area, qualified candidates will be considered throughout the United States.
