Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to lead and execute the financial strategy of our growing business. This role is ideal for a finance executive who thrives in a hands-on environment, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and can manage and develop a lean finance and accounting team. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, controls, and compliance while ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute all finance and accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, and reporting

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and key performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow models

  • Establish and maintain internal controls and processes for accuracy and efficiency

  • Manage banking relationships, covenant compliance, and investor/lender reporting

  • Provide financial insight and decision support to the CEO and leadership team

  • Build and mentor a high-performing, nimble finance/accounting team

  • Lead audit and tax preparation activities

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a hands-on or small/mid-size company environment

  • Comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels

  • Experience in private equity or high-growth companies a plus

  • Strong financial modeling, systems, and analytical skills

  • Proven ability to build scalable processes and drive financial discipline
