Roles & Responsibilities

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and eight years of relevant experience developing and maintaining overall platform architecture aligned with business goals.
  • Proven experience of at least two years as a ServiceNow Platform Architect, with strong focus on platform design, implementation, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX; experience with web application development and ServiceNow platform functionalities; relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist for HR/CSM/ITSM).
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to mentor and guide ServiceNow developers; ability to collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead the design of scalable and sustainable solutions, considering performance, security, and integration requirements, and provide technical leadership to the ServiceNow development team.
  • Oversee the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules and design integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and training materials; mentor team members to enhance ServiceNow skills.

A Day in the Life

Work on a growing, dynamic team to guide the design and implementation of new ServiceNow features, custom enhancements to ServiceNow applications, new custom applications, and migration of legacy solutions to the latest technologies. Our current programs include a broad rollout of NowAssist and Predictive Intelligence capabilities, expansion of Configurable Workspace capabilities, and numerous modernization and automation initiatives. The role will be a remote role in Colombia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead the design of scalable and sustainable solutions, considering performance, security, and integration requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and assist in translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Work with enterprise and business unit architects to align on strategic direction and tactical decisions while representing the needs of the ServiceNow platform
  • Oversee the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and configuration standards.
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to streamline processes and data flow.
  • Participate in establishing and enforcing guardrails, policies, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors, to gather requirements and ensure successful platform implementation.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration guides, and best practice documentation.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their ServiceNow skills.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree
  • Fluent English level
  • Eight years of relevant experience developing and maintaining overall platforms architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Proven experience of two years as a ServiceNow Platform Architect, with a strong focus on platform design and implementation
  • Proven experience leading ServiceNow implementations, including customization, integration, and development.
  • In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, ServiceNow modules, scripting, integrations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX, along with experience in web application development and ServiceNow platform functionalities
  • Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (HR/CSM/ITSM)
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to mentor and guide ServiceNow developers.
  • Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, ServiceNow Architect certification, Experience creating and maintaining an Architecture Blueprint for a ServiceNow ecosystem; Experience configuring OAuth authentication and Single Sign-on solutions is advantageous
