You have complete control over your lessons, and we don't require a minimum number of hours weekly or monthly.

C194907 Position Details - Individual class for an adult - a French teacher from Senegal is needed

• Availability: 2 x week for 1 hour: Sunday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon (Dakar)
• Preferred start date: March 1, 2026
• Lesson Frequency: 2 / week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Location/time zone: Trinidad, Rio Claro (UTC -4)
• Relocation date/location: August 1 2026, Dakar, Senegal (UTC 0)
• Preferred platform: Any
• Current target language level: Complete beginner
• Native and other spoken languages: English
• Language needs and goals: To build vocabulary, improve pronunciation including local accents and slang, handle everyday conversations, manage phone calls and public transportation, develop job related language and social communication skills
• Learning preferences: Enjoys conversation practice and structured lessons, values teacher adaptability, enjoys game-based learning, open to varied learning methods and occasional specialist support, comfortable practicing both independently and with others, appreciates understanding lesson objectives

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
• To have a minimum of two years of experience teaching French
