Requirements:

Deliver online Maltese language lessons (two-to-one) to beginner students via Zoom
Conduct 10 one-hour sessions (total 10 hours) according to the course plan
Schedule lessons once per week within the specified Pacific Time windows and start as soon as possible
Work from home and participate in software training; prepare and adapt lesson materials and provide learner feedback

Job description

Language Trainers is an international language training company offering private language classes throughout the world. Our clients, either individuals or companies, typically look for tailor-made training at their homes or offices or online. They always tell us their training needs before they book with us and it is our job to recruit the best possible tutor - we hope it is you!

Currently, we are looking for an online Maltese language teacher, for two of our clients based in the Seattle (PST).

Some details about the course:

This couple would like to have general, two-to-one, online Maltese language lessons.
Channel: via Zoom video-conference.
Course length: 10 hours (10 x 1-hour sessions).
Students' current language level is Beginner. Native English speakers.
Classes should be held once a week, ideally Sunday anytime between 4pm and 7pm, Monday 6pm or 7pm, Tuesday 6pm or 7pm, Pacific time.
They would like to start as soon as possible.

The teacher selected will work from home. Please note that we would give full training on the use of the software, but you should:

• be a native Maltese speaker or/and hold a teaching/language certificate
• have experience as an online tutor
• be available for tutoring in the schedule mentioned above
• have your own computer with webcam at home and a fast broadband connection
