Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience (preferred)
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
Requirements:
Facilitate communication between Japanese and English speakers as a remote interpreter
Process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner
Maintain a quiet, secure home office environment and use tools such as notepads, glossaries, and dictionaries to support interpretation
Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions; explain cultural concepts when requested to prevent miscommunication
