Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent; advanced education preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience in a similar role (HRBP, HR Generalist, or HR Manager).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycor, Deel, JazzHR) and solid knowledge of applicable labor laws.

Requirements:

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for assigned positions, including full-cycle recruitment, vendor management, ATS administration, and partnering with managers to plan staffing needs.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, coaching management on HR practices, managing performance, compensation reviews, engagement, transitions, and addressing employee issues; counsel on HR policies.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance across HR systems (employee files, payroll records) and coordinate with global HQ; draft or translate HR policies.
  • Act as culture advocate, manage vendor relationships for payroll/benefits, communications, and HR projects; support cross-time-zone operations and occasional temporary replacements; report to Global HR Director.

Job Summary
The HRBP will be responsible executing our organization’s HR and Talent Acquisition efforts in in The Netherlands and assist other European regions supporting a team of 50+ highly qualified individuals.

Location: Remote in The Netherlands with strong preference for local candidates able to commute to our office in Bunschoten-Spakenburg.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Organization’s talent acquisition efforts for assigned positions including:
  1. Manage full cycle recruitment, including vendor management, for timely and quality hiring
  2. Administer assigned candidates and positions in Company’s ATS, providing excellent candidate experience
  3. Partner with managers to plan, analyze, and develop staffing needs
  • Own full employee life cycle management including coaching and guiding management on HR practices touching on performance management, compensation review, engagement management, transition management
  • Act as a mediator between the management and employees in addressing issues and queries by the employees
  • Counsel employees regarding human resources policies, procedures, and practices
  • Own overall HR processes for assigned operations and coordinating with global HQ to ensure a smooth flow of information within the organization
  • Responsible for data accuracy in HR systems, employee files, payroll records for compliance with internal and external guidelines/laws applicable
  • Responsible for drafting or translating HR policies
  • Act as Culture Advocate of the organization to maintain and enhance company values and culture
  • Coordinate vendor relations including payroll and benefits partnerships that involves administering payroll changes, car fleet management, sick leave administration and pension administration
  • Manage employee communications including recognition and appreciation
  • Work with a globally dispersed team and may occasionally step in for temporary replacement for international colleagues in their absence
  • May lead HR projects as assigned
  • Report to Global HR Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s level degree in HR or equivalent. Advanced education preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in HR in similar role (HRBP, HR Generalist or HR Manager)
  • Experience in software/technology field with knowledge of job profiles strongly preferred
  • Fluency in Dutch and English required both written and verbal
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Solid user skills of HRIS system for full life cycle management (Paycor, Deel, JazzHR or AI tools like Humanly system knowledge preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Keen sense of confidentiality and diplomacy to handle sensitive information
  • Experience and ability to listen with professional humility and coach, guide employees and management accordingly
  • Flexibility to work across various time zones including US ET occasionally
  • Eagerness and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, international and growing organization

Work and Physical Requirements
This position may work from home and/or office environment. Working in an office environment may require prolonged sitting, work in an air-conditioned environment, ability to work with others at various noise levels and ability to lift up to 30 pounds or 15 kg.
