Job description

Location: Primarily remote with occassional travel to Atlanta, GA

What You'll Do

This engineer will assist in development and support of integrations between national third party delivery partners and one of the premier Quick Service Restaurants in the country
Work as part of a highly skilled agile pod using leading edge technologies such as Golang, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda), and Datadog
Own technical design collaborating closely with client lead engineer
Own development team delivery quality and user story execution
Boost team velocity by developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria and definition of done
Estimate and break down user stories or tasks
Coach and guide junior software engineers
Assist production support team and trouble shoot more complex issues
Actively participate in sprint ceremonies

What You'll Bring

8+ years of software engineering experience
4-8 years of Golang (Go) experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills, while working independently
Strong, collaborative team player
Experience supporting software applications
Experience with cloud technologies
Self-starter with an eagerness to learn new things
Interest in DevOps and technical applications such as AWS, DataDog, Opsgenie, etc.
Programming knowledge in python is a plus
Experience with JIRA is a plus
Experience with the QSR industry is a plus
