Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM) for NDT
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics; proof of classroom and on-the-job hours (OJT) as required
Requirements:
Conduct inspections on job sites using CRT/RT methods and other NDT techniques such as UT, MT, and PT
Create inspection reports based on findings; document results and any non-conformities

Role Description:
This is a full-time contract positionfor a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspector located around Detroit, Michigan. The CRT/RT Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections on job sites, utilizing CRT/RT methods as well as various other NDE methods, such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant. The NDE Inspector will also be responsible for creating reports based on inspection findings, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met, and collaborating with other team members as needed.
Qualifications
Must be qualified and certified to ASNT in the following NDT methods that will be utilized:
CRT/RT (Level II that must hold pervious or applicable certification to ASNT)
Certified in one or more of the following NDT methods in conjunction with CRT/RT:
VT, PT, MT, PAUT(Preferred, not required)
Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM, pertaining to various forms of non-destructive testing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proof of classroom and OJT hours (this is a requirement)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Available as needed days, nights, weekends holidays and potential travel to support other offices.
