Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and compliance of procedures

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Procedure Writer opportunity in Los Alamos, NM for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). Per diem is available for those who qualify. Work Location: Remote/Hybrid Duration: Approximately 3 months
The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of procedure writing or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 3 years of procedure writing experience.
10-15+ years of procedure writing experience desired.
Procedure writing in a DOE environment is required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word.
Strong writing skills are a must.
PPA Certification is a plus.
Must be able to work with limited supervision.
Knowledge of nuclear facility conduct of operations and or conduct of maintenance is a plus.
You must be able to work under pressure in a competitive environment with strict deadlines.
