Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Design, build, and deploy SnapLogic pipelines integrating Salesforce Education Cloud, SIS (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday Student), and third-party tools.
  • Develop real-time and batch integrations to support student lifecycle, advancement/donor mastering, enrollment analytics, and faculty/staff integrations.
  • Implement API-based integrations using REST/SOAP; design source-to-target mappings and transformation logic; establish robust error handling, logging, retry logic, and monitoring.
  • Support data governance and data quality initiatives tied to Salesforce data domains; participate in technical design sessions; support UAT, production releases, and post-go-live stabilization.

Job Description

Attain Partners is seeking a SnapLogic Integration Developer (1099 Contractor) to support Higher Education institutions implementing and optimizing Salesforce (Education Cloud, Advancement, Experience Cloud) and related campus systems. This role will focus on integrating Salesforce with SIS, ERP, HCM, data warehouses, and other university platforms using SnapLogic as the iPaaS solution. We are looking for someone who understands the complexity of higher ed data ecosystems (student lifecycle, advancement, alumni, finance, HR) and can translate business requirements into scalable integration pipelines.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy SnapLogic pipelines integrating:
    • Salesforce Education Cloud / Advancement
    • Student Information Systems (Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday Student, Colleague, etc.)
    • Third-party enrollment and engagement tools (EAB, Slate, Blackbaud, etc.)
  • Develop real-time and batch integrations to support:
    • Student lifecycle (prospect → applicant → student → alumni)
    • Advancement and donor mastering
    • Enrollment and retention analytics
    • Faculty/staff integrations
  • Implement API-based integrations using REST/SOAP
  • Design source-to-target mappings and transformation logic
  • Build robust error handling, logging, retry logic, and monitoring
  • Support data governance and data quality initiatives tied to Salesforce data domains
  • Participate in technical design sessions with university IT and functional stakeholders
  • Support UAT, production releases, and post-go-live stabilization

 

Required Skills

  • 3+ years integration development experience
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in SnapLogic
  • Strong Salesforce integration experience (REST APIs, Bulk API, Platform Events preferred)
  • Experience integrating with higher education systems (SIS, ERP, CRM)
  • Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL, and data transformation
  • Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SSO, SAML)
  • Ability to work independently in a consulting/client-facing environment
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud or Advancement
  • Knowledge of higher ed data domains (student, course, program, advancement, faculty)
  • Experience with data mastering concepts (MDM, golden record, identity resolution)
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or Azure Data environments
  • Experience with additional iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica)
  • Consulting experience in Higher Education
