Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Build qualified sales pipelines by identifying and cultivating prospective clients to develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Drive value-based sales using MEDDPIC to create structured, value-focused opportunities and predictable outcomes.
  • Execute the sales strategy, manage Salesforce updates and forecasts, and align efforts with key EMEA metrics to achieve sales objectives.
  • Lead discovery, negotiate contracts for commercial and legal terms, and close new deals with strategic key accounts.

Job description

Tacton is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our DACH Sales team. In this role, you will work closely with our commercial team, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive significant software deals and bring them to closure. 

As a Senior Account Executive, you will serve as a strategic advisor to our customers, engaging with multiple executive stakeholders across business and IT functions. You will lead the discovery process, strategy, and value mapping to analyse the customer’s business needs and position the best solutions to achieve the desired outcomes. 

You will report to Vera Wolf, SVP Sales, and work closely with the EMEA team based in Sweden and Germany.
 
What you will do 

  • Build Qualified Sales Pipelines: Identify and cultivate prospective clients to develop a robust sales pipeline. 

  • Drive Value-Based Sales: Focus on winning new, strategic key accounts using a value-based sales approach. Identify and present business values to customers.  

  • MEDDPIC: You will apply the MEDDPIC sales methodology in your sales approach to drive structured, value-based opportunities and predictable outcomes.

  • Execute Sales Strategy: Align your efforts to key metrics in the EMEA Sales strategy to drive results. 

  • Salesforce Management: Keep Salesforce updated and manage forecasts effectively 

  • Achieve Sales Objectives: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets. 

  • Negotiate Contracts: Lead negotiations for commercial and legal contracts to close new deals. 

  • Lead Discovery Process: Drive the discovery process to uncover customer needs and opportunities. 

 

 
Requirements
