Software Development Engineer

CSG's Systems and API Team designs and develops scalable, secure system architectures and APIs that empower our R&D organization to deliver innovative solutions, enhance operational efficiency, and drive technological innovation.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who will:

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using languages like Python, Java, or Go.

• Integrate APIs with front-end applications and support CI/CD workflows.

• Review code, test, and fix bugs.

• Optimize API performance and scalability, including load testing and caching.

• Maintain API documentation and assist with issue resolution.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience with Python, Java or Go

• Familiarity with ELK stack framework

• Experience in agile Scrum practical experience

• Experience with the SQL or NoSQL databases

• Experience in CI-CD pipelines

• Experience with creating technical documentation

• Ability to work in a CLT contract position  

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
