The Opportunity

In this position, you’ll manage service projects and collaborate across operations, commercial, and technical teams to deliver solutions that keep critical infrastructure running smoothly. You’ll tackle complex challenges in project execution, customer engagement, and process improvement—helping shape the future of energy services while ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence.


How You’ll Make an Impact
 

  • Lead service project execution from initiation to close-out, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate with operations, field, and production teams to verify service completion and resolve project issues

  • Oversee documentation and data management in ERP and scheduling tools (e.g., SAP, MSA)

  • Facilitate communication between commercial, finance, and project management teams to support accounts receivable reduction

  • Manage order schedules, shipments, and on-time delivery of materials for service projects

  • Provide administrative and customer support, including project updates, scheduling, and change notices

  • Resolve customer disputes and ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection

  • Collaborate with sales contacts to verify order details and finalize project documentation

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


Your Background
 

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, service delivery, or operations within the power industry or a similar technical sector

  • PMP certification or currently in the process of attaining PMP

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and scheduling tools (e.g., MSA)

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with customer-facing roles and commercial operations is a plus
