  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of equivalent experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML, with understanding of ServiceNow APIs and integrations
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls

Requirements:

  • Review business requirements and functional specifications to create technical specifications, and provide estimates and task planning to support business cases and portfolio prioritization.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement functionality in accordance with best practices and the system development life cycle; develop business rules, workflows, scripts, and UI policies using JavaScript and Flow Designer; build integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
  • Provide technical documentation including specifications, user guides, and knowledge articles; conduct code reviews and promote ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow advances to ensure that Guidehouse tooling remains relevant and up to date.

What You Will Do:

  • Review business requirements and functional specifications to create technical specifications.  Provides estimates and task planning as needed to support business cases and portfolio prioritization.
  • Applies technical knowledge and experience to recommend solutions that achieve business requirements.
  • Designs, develops, tests, and implements functionality in accordance with best practices and the system development life cycle.
  • Develop business rules, workflows, scripts, and UI policies using JavaScript and Flow Designer
  • Build integrations between ServiceNow and 3rd party applications
  • Provide technical documentation including specifications, user guides, and knowledge articles
  • Conduct code reviews and promote ServiceNow development best practices
  • Stays current with ServiceNow advances to ensure that Guidehouse tooling remains relevant and up to date


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's and 4+ years of equivalent experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in ServiceNow Modules ITSM/HRSD/SPM and tools UI builder/Workflow studio
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML, with understanding of ServiceNow APIs and integrations
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while remote
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels
  • Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
