Job description

Are you ready to analyze the global supply chains of tomorrow? We are looking for a bright mind who isn't afraid of big data and is eager to support our consultants in making the world of logistics more efficient.

At Trimble Transportation, we are making it safer, simpler, and more efficient to move freight by bringing together a global network of shippers, carriers, brokers, and 3PLs. As part of the Transporeon segment, you will join the leading cloud-based logistics platform that digitizes the entire supply chain, helping the world move forward by making logistics more transparent and sustainable.

What Makes This Role Great:

At our company, you are an integral part of our team. Your tasks are as diverse as the global trade routes we manage:

  • Deep Dive Research: You assist our consultants with market analysis and keep a keen eye on global industry trends.
  • Data Acquisition: You support the team in sourcing up-to-date worldwide transport data, ensuring our database is always one step ahead.
  • Take Ownership: Work on your own projects, focusing on the analysis and validation of large data volumes—this is your playground for analytical precision.
  • Global Logistics Support: Get hands-on experience in global logistics processes across all modes of transport (Road, Ocean, and Air).
  • Visualizing Success: You prepare project visualizations and documentation that translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for our clients.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Your Foundation: You are currently studying Business Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field, preferably with a focus on Logistics.
  • Your Mindset: You work reliably, methodically, and possess the "can-do" attitude needed to drive tasks forward independently.
  • Tech Stack: You are confident in using MS Office (especially Excel). If you have already gained some initial experience in the logistics sector, that’s a huge plus!
  • Communication: You have a strong command of both German and English. Any additional languages are a welcome bonus.

Logistics:

Location: ideally Mannheim, Germany (weekly in-person collaboration at our co-working space)
