We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Facilities and Engineering to oversee all aspects of our facilities management and engineering operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our physical facilities and infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage both people and resources effectively to ensure the success of our capital projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Establish best practices for maintaining/increasing asset value and extending useful life of the asset with direct reports input
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facilities management and environmental health and safety
  • Review and manage the capital budget for all properties, including forecasting and monitoring expenses
  • Interface with national vendors and service providers to sustain strong working relationships
  • Plan and coordinate capital projects with the onsite property team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and department heads to understand and support their needs
  • Work with the head of the organization ESG program to secure energy strategies for the properties
  • Act as owner liaison on capital execution and major building issues
  • Works alongside the design and construction team during the planning phase of all renovation projects

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible hospitality experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Professional in Facilities Management (CPFM) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial forecasting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000

Medical & Pharmacy Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Dental Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Vision Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Retirement: 401(k)

Insurance: Employer-paid life & short/long term disability
