Be visionary

At Teledyne CARIS, a division of Teledyne technologies, we have a simple but ambitious mission: develop market-leading data processing and ocean mapping software solutions which provide more reliable and more accurate data for faster decisions. From monitoring and protecting our natural resources to increasing safety and productivity in the hydrographic industry, Teledyne CARIS is connecting the digital world and the real world. Our products are used in a wide array of applications to create digital maps of the seafloor, secure assets and people, detect objects in the ocean, navigate safely, provide security around the globe, and protect our environment.

You aspire at making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins?

Teledyne CARIS is recruiting a highly motivated Senior Sales Manager for the Americas region to lead our continued growth in this product segment.

As Senior Sales Manager, you will focus on achieving and exceeding global sales targets (both channel and direct). By leveraging relationships with existing customers and channel partners, and by bringing in new customers, you will execute strategies that drive our gotomarket success. You will also oversee and support the Sales Manager in North America in achieving regional objectives.

Using your experience in hydrographic software and sales, you will shape a forwardlooking strategy that blends our current approach with future needs. You will be directly responsible for sales in North America, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, and will consolidate an accurate weekly forecast and pipeline report broken down by major customers.

You will also focus on growing sales of software licenses, subscriptions, and consulting projects.

  • Maintain and present accurate weekly forecasts and pipeline reports.

  • Implement and refine channel programs, pricing structures, KPIs, and partner standards.

  • Shape long‑term go‑to‑market strategies with sales, e‑commerce, and regional leadership.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams on campaigns that drive pipeline growth.

  • Improve processes and efficiency across global go‑to‑market teams.

  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure excellent lifecycle support.

  • Represent CARIS at customer visits, demos, events, and tradeshows (up to 50% travel).

What you need

  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and strategic thinking skills (required).

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and regions (required).

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in airborne/remote sensing or similar markets (required).

  • CRM experience for forecasting and pipeline management (required).

  • Experience with sonar operations or CARIS software (advantage).

  • Knowledge of point‑cloud workflows and data processing (advantage).

  • Fluent English and Spanish; U.S. citizenship (required).

What we offer

  • A global leader in hydrographic and marine mapping software.

  • A collaborative, international environment across North America, Europe, and Asia.

  • High autonomy and meaningful career development.

  • Frequent product training and access to cutting‑edge R&D.
