Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum of three years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development
  • Proficient in Learning Management Systems (Blackboard preferred) and Articulate Rise; strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and distance learning best practices

Job description

Overview:

As an Instructional Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping our students' learning experiences. This role focuses on systematically designing, developing, and evaluating engaging and effective instructional materials and programs that align with educational best practices and institutional standards.

 

What We Offer:

  • $55K-$60K a year
  • Weekends OFF
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality instructional materials in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Develop comprehensive course content, including syllabi, assessments, and multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement.
  • Create instructor course guides to support effective delivery of learning experiences.
  • Ensure all instructional materials and course designs comply with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (required); master’s degree (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and distance learning best practices.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills for sound decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Learning Management Systems (Blackboard preferred) and Articulate Rise & PowerPoint
