Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in a lead or senior technical role within deployment or systems engineering
  • Experience with Linux machines (setup, administration, operation) and complex networking infrastructures (routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Hands-on Kubernetes administration and debugging/tracing skills (Wireshark)
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems (4G/5G/IMS) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP); fluent in English

Requirements:

  • Lead and oversee the Client Deployment Team to guarantee smooth delivery, including high-/low-level design and final deployment/integration of solutions
  • Plan, prepare, and set up lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments
  • Supervise installation and configuration of cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes and drive automation to accelerate deployment processes
  • Ensure stability and performance of deployments through monitoring, administration, updates, and coordinating customer requests at leadership level

In your role as Deployment Engineering Lead, you will lead our client deployment team, responsible for guaranteeing a smooth delivery of our solutions and supporting our clients. You will be working closely with our engineering as well as product development teams to align on client needs and product requirements.

The role is located in Mexico.
Tasks

What you’ll do:

  • Leading and overseeing the Client Deployment Team, guaranteeing smooth delivery of solutions, including high-/low-level design with final technical deployment and integration of the solutions.
  • Managing the planning, preparing, and setting up of lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments.
  • Supervising the installation and configuration of cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes.
  • Driving a culture of automation, automation, automation – focusing on technical deployment and identifying ways to speed up these processes across the team.
  • Ensuring the stability of solutions by maintaining, monitoring, administering, and updating current deployments.
  • Coordinating customer requests and disseminating client information at a leadership level.
  • Unlocking operational efficiency in deployment and support procedures.
Requirements

Our ideal new colleague: 

  • Proven experience in a lead or senior technical role within deployment or systems engineering.
  • Experience with Linux machines (setup, admin, operation).
  • Experience with complex networking infrastructures including routing, switching, firewalls techniques.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems (4G, 5G, IMS).
  • Hands-on in Kubernetes administration.
  • Debugging and tracing skills (Wireshark).
  • Fluency in English.
Nice To have (optional)
  • Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of signaling standards and protocols such as SIP and Diameter.
  • Worked with public cloud like AWS and GCP.
