Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the next generation of human-centered, AI-augmented testing within our organization. This role provides leadership and oversight for an established team of QA Analysts, elevating traditional validation practices into a modern, AI-assisted quality function. This role is focused on strengthening execution discipline, improving risk-based validation practices, and increasing release confidence across the product portfolio.
Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day leadership, oversight, and performance management for a team of QA AnalystsDefine and implement a strategy for AI-assisted manual testing that enhances exploratory depth, risk discovery, and test design efficiencyEnable QA Analysts to leverage AI tools for test case ideation, scenario expansion, regression gap analysis, and defect clarity, while maintaining human accountability for validation decisionsSet clear priorities, ensure accountability, and maintain consistent execution standards across projectsLead risk-based test planning to ensure critical workflows and customer-impacting functionality are thoroughly validatedOversee release readiness activities, including test strategy alignment, defect triage, and quality sign-offRepresent QA in cross-functional planning, refinement, and product discussionsPartner with SDET and Engineering leaders to identify automation opportunities and improve overall test strategyAnalyze defect trends and quality metrics to drive measurable process improvementsChampion the customer experience by advocating for usability, reliability, and product integrityKnowledge & Skills:Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and approaches that enhance test design, coverage analysis, and validation efficiencyStrong expertise in manual testing methodologies, exploratory testing, and defect lifecycle managementStrong understanding of where human judgment provides differentiated value compared to automation and how AI can augment, not replace, that judgmentProven ability to strengthen and scale QA processes across multiple teamsDeep understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologiesStrong analytical thinking and risk assessment capabilitiesExceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence engineering and product stakeholdersSolid understanding of system integrations, workflows, and end-to-end product behaviorAbility to balance tactical execution with strategic quality improvementsQualifications8 to 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance5+ years of managing distributed or remote quality teamsDemonstrated leadership experience managing QA Analysts or test teamsExperience refining test strategies and identifying opportunities for process and automation alignmentProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience1 to 3 years of professional experience leveraging AI-assisted tools for test case development and or test executionCool Company Benefits:
