Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of IT and/or relevant business experience, including at least 1 year as an architect/technical lead or business analyst, and 3 years in a relevant domain (e.g., software engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, storage, information management, organizational development, or business processes).
  • Military affiliation or TRICARE experience preferred.
  • Experience guiding architecture strategy, governance, and collaboration across IT groups to promote enterprise architecture standards.

Requirements:

  • Align across architectural disciplines to develop innovative architectures and roadmaps and provide governance and recommendations to meet technical objectives.
  • Lead or participate in vendor architecture assessments and reviews; validate analyses, designs, artifacts, and technical requirements for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop technical architectures that reduce cost, increase availability, improve security, enhance client experience, and improve flexibility; assist in IT due diligence on growth opportunities and assess technology risks.
  • Set day-to-day objectives and perform tasks that may be non-routine, work independently with discretion, and solve problems that may require analysis beyond existing processes.

Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the definition, oversight, coordination and development of technology designs, along with the related road maps and lifecycle management.

This position supports TRICARE Prime® Demo by CareSource Military & Veterans, which aims to enhance healthcare access and prioritize the unique needs of the military community. Essential Functions:

  • Aligns efforts across the various technical architectural disciplines within the company to develop innovative and appropriate architectures and roadmaps that enable the enterprise to deliver best-in-class services to their clients, partners and employees

  • Provide overall architecture guidance, governance, and recommendations in support of technical objectives

  • Work with the department leadership in establishing technology architecture strategy, goals, and objectives

  • Partner with peers within all Information Technology groups to promote architecture principles, standards, methods, and strategic direction for the enterprise

  • Facilitate overall analysis, design, artifacts, and technical requirements validation for strategic initiatives

  • Lead / participate in vendor architecture related assessments and reviews

  • Develop technical architectures that will drive reduced cost, increased availability, improved security, client experience, and greater flexibility

  • Assist in performing IT due diligence on  growth opportunities; identify the potential technology risks and opportunity concerning the technical environment by analyzing and assessing target companies

  • Sets day-to-day objectives and delivers job responsibilities that may vary outside typical norms or practices.  Work consists of tasks that are occasionally not routine and often works independently and is required to apply discretion within established operational boundaries and procedures

  • Problems and issues faced are occasionally vague, and may need some analysis to understand.  Makes adjustments to work methods to solve problems that may not be immediately evident in existing work processes and systems. However, may have references or help from norms and/or standard procedures to solve these problems

  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required

  • Master’s degree is preferred

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of IT and/or relevant business experience, to include a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an architect, technical lead, or business analyst, and three (3) years of experience in a relevant domain, such as software engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, storage, information management, organizational development, or business processes

  • Military affiliation or TRICARE experience is preferred.

  • Ability to actively gather appropriate level of participation and input to decision-making and foster it within teams

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$113,000.00 - $197,700.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
