Become an EXpert as a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js | AWS)

We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) to join a fast-growing healthcare technology company. This is a backend-heavy, 100% hands-on engineering role within a small, high-impact team focused on building and evolving distributed cloud-native systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize microservices running in AWS production environments.
• Implement event-driven and asynchronous workflows to support high-performance systems.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and contribute to Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Improve reliability, monitoring, and fault tolerance across distributed services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers while remaining primarily backend-focused.
• Participate fully in sprint development and deliver production-ready code.

What You’ll Bring

• 5–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Solid experience working with AWS in production.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and DevOps practices.
• Advanced English proficiency for technical discussions.

Nice to Have

Experience with React or frontend collaboration.

Experience with Python in backend services.

Experience in startup or high-growth environments.

Exposure to observability and monitoring tools.
