ResponsibilitiesReviewing test basis (stories, FSD, design docs, etc.) and give feedback about whether they are testable or notCreating and designing efficient test cases to provide good coverage (for both manual and automated testing)Performing manual testing across Mobile applications, APIs, and DatabasesPerforming required activities to apply test process (test planning, design, execution, monitoring and reporting)Providing feedback to software engineering and other teams and enforce that business requirements are being met in the productTaking a supportive role on continuous integration, continuous testing and release managementTaking an active role in all aspects of quality within the projectQualifications & ExperienceBSc or MSc in Software/Computer Engineering or related fields,At least 4 years of experience in software testingProficiency in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skillsStrong experience in testing Mobile applications, APIs, and DatabasesStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, test design techniques and processesExperience with frameworks and tools like PostmanKnowledge of SQL and/or other scripting toolsExperience with Agile Development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)Experience using a test management system, preferably ZephyrStrong familiarity with Agile Software Development Approach, Java/other OO languages.Experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, Cosmos, MongoDB, etc. Familiarity with DB queries is mandatory.Accurate sense of analysis and synthesis to define root causes and possible solutions.Being ISTQB certified is a plus.Why Commencis?
