Surgical Directions is looking for a seasoned Associate Vice President (AVP), Client Enterprise for our growth team serving the Northeast. The AVP, Client Enterprise, must have extensive healthcare expertise, a track record of effective leadership, and be recognized as an expert within the industry. This role is focused on creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships with clients that create perpetual value.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of client objectives
  • Interacts with executives at clients to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs and negotiate contracts to close
  • Ability to define healthcare client solutions across a diverse solution set, including consulting, analytics software, and leadership staffing
  • Reviews client presentations, proposals, and other client sales documentation to ensure quality deliverables
  • Serves as the Account Owner and develops partnership roadmap with clients to create continued value
  • Commitment to the company’s quality selling process with a sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Achieves and exceeds quarterly quota metrics and annual multimillion-dollar quota
  • Will work closely with downstream teammates to ensure a quality selling process and seamless transfer to delivery post-close won
  • Responsible for maintaining data integrity and organizing pipeline records using our CRM, HubSpot
  • Will be responsible for reporting on successes and failures and conducting readouts to leadership
  • Builds and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10 years in healthcare consulting in a senior sales role
  • Seasoned healthcare sales executive with a proven track record of partnering with clients to solve key challenges while also meeting or exceeding quota
  • Solid experience in selling to hospitals, surgery centers, and large healthcare systems, including intimate knowledge of current trends and challenges
  • Proven ability in selling professional services, consulting, and strategic deals
  • Understands healthcare industry, perioperative operations, and Surgical Directions' offerings, including supporting differentiation and value propositions
  • Ability to sell net new clients and act as an account owner with the goal of account growth
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills - both written and verbal
  • Commitment to ensuring all client deliverables are of high quality and willingness to coach teammates on how to ensure quality deliverables
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

 

Salary and Benefits


The salary range (base plus commission) for this role is $180,000 to $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience. At Surgical Directions, we recognize that people are the lifeblood of our organization.
